Top 7 Challenges Obstructing Successful Business Growth

I decided to visit a few forums, for a number of reasons, but mainly to determine what challenges other new business owners were facing in their businesses.

Time management - Brenda Tsiaousis
I wasn’t too surprised at the results . As a home based entrepreneur myself I have experienced all too often many of the challenges other new small business owners face in attempting to grow a successful home business.

I will endeavor to address over the next few weeks these issues and present a solution to each.  You will note a common trend throughout the comments which have been copied directly from the forum, I am sure a few will resonate with you.

As this entire article is based on finding a workable solution for these business challenges I urge you to add comments and suggestions to assist others reading this article. The comments are unedited and the core of each  highlighted to reflect the challenge at hand. Surprisingly enough there seems to be only a few overriding issues which with simple systems, strategies and personal development can easily be overcome.

* Listed below in no order of preference are the overriding issues faced in today’s small business world and/ or by internet network marketers;

  1. For example, so far today, mine is finding more keywords for my CPC campaign. ( SEO )
  2. My main problem is the lack of imagination, when creating fresh content, articles. I need more time to make a really quality stuff, which I want to spend on self-improving. ( Time Management )
  3. How do I meet new people? How do I help more so they find it worth coming over to my site? ( Traffic Generation )
  4. I’m finding it very hard to concentrate and just buckle down and work… (Lack of Focus )
  5. One of my problems in my IM business is the lack of time and focus ( Time Management /Focus )
  6. Trying to write my first sales page and really battling with the words ( Copy writing )
  7. Over-information.. Just do the ****! NOW.  ( Overwhelm
  8. That’s my biggest problem, there is just so much information out there, that you want to try everything and you end up with nothing. Also building lists makes me want to shave my head. ( Overwhelm)
  9. My biggest problem is time! Never enough to do al the things I want to. ( Time Management)
  10. The second biggest is deciding what to do next. ( Time Management )
  11. My problem of today (just like everyday) is how to get new sources of free or cheap relevant traffic to my pages. ( Traffic Generation )
  12. Is to generate enough traffic to make loads of cash with google adsense, it ain’t easy at all. ( Traffic Generation )
  13. Getting these sequence of auto responder emails just right. Don’t want them too long, or too short. Want to use proper call to actions and the right word usage. ( Copy Writing )
  14. Biggest problem is that 24hrs is just not enough.. I only get about 5hrs of sleep because I’m always reading, watching tutorial videos, or developing my website. Need to learn how to manage my time better. ( Time Management )
  15. My biggest problem is that I can’t clone myself and do 10 different things at one time. Yes, you can outsource a lot of things, but some things you just have to handle yourself.  ( Time Management )
  16. One problem that occasionally pops up for me is the difficulty of deciding which of my ideas to pursue with my limited time.Paralysis by analysis” is like the internet marketing equivalent to writer’s block… and I spend most of my time conquering both. ( Time Management and Overwhelm )
  17. My biggest problem is I have a little lack of imagination when I am writing articles or creating fresh content. I need more time and more concentration to make a really quality stuff, which I want to spend on self-improving. Plus time management is a big problem too. ( Time Management and Focus )
  18. My other major problem is only having 24 hours in each day. ( Time Management )
  19. Too many ideas… Not enough time…( Time Management )
  20. Focusing and getting the work done. Writing sales copy. – ( Focus / Copy Writing )
  21. Information overload is the main problem for me – ( Overwhelm)
  22. Time…Wish I had 48 hrs in a day ( Time Management )
  23. Something I’m battling at the moment is standing out from the rest of the noisy market… there seems to be no end of great opportunities out there at the moment, but MY opportunity is also a good one. Obviously the best place to market an online opportunity is online but how do you stand out from the rest of the noise? What can you do to be the beacon of light shining in the dark and stand out from the rest? ( Branding )

From the 23 comment listed above we can see that the predominant challenges faced by small business owners can be summarized  as the following ;
