Over complicating things suck… and I am soooo guilty of doing this, even when planning 2014. I tend to squeeze as much as possible into my planning , goals and to do list, creating an elaborate, intricate and almost unachievable plan and setting high expectations for myself. (this will be the last time I do it)

I am sure that I am not the only one (Oh gosh what a weird thought to l think I could be…)

I am sure we all know planning is important, who was it that said, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” ( yes, Benjamin Franklin, not sure why I thought it was Brian Tracey.) Even simple planning is better than no planning.

After reading a beautiful blog post by Alexandra Franzen a little earlier I decided to share her simple yet  effective philosophy.  “Whatever you’re building, build it simple and strong. “ Sound advice. So in light of the above and with a little help from Alexandra who put together the simple template which I am using below (and you can too – I am sure she won’t mind a bit, she is a one super creative wordsmith, go check her out.)

I am building it strong in 2014 and keeping it simple.  

In 2014, I am building … The world’s most encouraging, open, non judgemental space to learn how create a life and business you love, get what you want , make mistakes, earn loads of yummy cash authentically and with love. This building — my body of work — will include a few very helpful offerings for the world, including …

• Your Blissful Business 12 Week Intensive (Ok I’m still thinking of a super hot name for this program ) – a DIY 12 week home study coaching program – For those who like fast action, one on one connection and BIG results.

• Inner Circle – where  “ enlightened entrepreneurs “ gather, connect and collaborate.

• Blog post – Yes, lots… for your weekly dose of inspirational life and business advice.

• Life on Your Terms – 6 Day e-course. Do you know who you are? Discover your purpose, launch into your compelling future – a massive mindset explosion.

• Monthly webinars – You ask, I teach, We all grow – because we can.

• Platinum VIP days – Strategic Sales and Marketing Intensive – , we’ll turn up the heat, you’ll eave with an actionable plan to rock those income goals.. (this is not for the feint hearted.)

• Did I mention these are just a few of the awesome offerings planned for 2014.

In order to build what I want to build, I’ll need to release / remove a few things from my world, including …

• I love people, so this is a difficult one as I could spend all day sharing, caring and helping people grow their business for FREE… I’m FULLY aware that I can’t get ahead with my own goals if I’m always saying yes to everyone else’s!

• I don’t allow people to “pick my brain.” This is a business. Not a hobby, I’m not offering unsolicited advice to anyone. Under any circumstance. If someone doesn’t ask for my opinion and I give it anyway, it’s a form of abuse. I’ve learned that people have to be ready to hear the truth…and they will let you know when that time comes.

• If it’s not a “HELL YEAH,” it’s a no. Period.

• Saying goodbye to icky looking non-mobile responsive website.

• Trying to do it all on my own, time to get help dammit. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none … out you go.

• Stinking thinking self doubt and fear. Embrace it baby, feel it, release it, GONE!

Because what I really want to be known for is …

• An Inspired kick-ass life and business strategist  – aka, Bodacious Blissful Business Diva and professional Keynote Speaker -(“Diva”  by definition =  any extremely independent and wildly talented woman. ) That’s me bolding using my wild talents to help you become extremely independent and successful, wholeheartedly and authentically.

When things start to feel overwhelming, I will keep it simple by reminding myself that my job is simply to …

• Guide and encourage you to find  wholesome answers that already reside within your awesome self to create the life and business your sweet little heart desires.

And by this time next year, I will be SO proud to have completed ONE big thing, which is …

• To have CONQUERED the stage…. Changing lives, making a difference, one keynote at a time.
