Success Is Challenging, Rise Up To The Challenge.

Success could be challenging!

Oh yes, it is a challenge to succeed.  If succeeding was an easy thing to do then many more people would be successful. Jim Rohn says for every person who is enjoying the fruit from the tree of success there are many more people who are examining its roots.

So what does this mean exactly?

Are you mystified and often perplexed and wonder if there is some hidden secret that you could be missing that might lead you to that success that you so wish to enjoy.

Most people spend their lives struggling to earn a living while a select few seem to have everything fall into their laps and have everything going their way, enjoying lavish lifestyles and playing with their fortunes. Have you ever wondered how this can be possible while the majority sit backs and watches while this happens? Have you ever wondered what the hidden secret is? Have you ever wondered why its possible that some can have so much while others have so little? Have you spent a moment thinking that life is unfair, complicated or unjust?

How often have you said to yourself – “I am a good person,”  “I do what is required of me”, “How is it possible then others are prosperous and happy, everything seems to be going well for them and yet I am always struggling? ” Are you familiar with thoughts like “I am a good husband or wife”,  “I am a loyal and good worker, I work harder than most and smarter than some?”

The sad thing here is that being a good person, doing a good job is not enough – How can I say that? Tony Robbins explains it like this;

Good, often gets poor results, to achieve good results excellence is required and to achieve excellence, Outstanding is required, Harsh?  Not really, Outstanding and  exceptional is only slightly above excellence, to get the full meaning of this I suggest listening to Tony Robbins audio book,  Unleash the Power Within

Most successful people will tell you that you’ve got to be more than a good person and a good worker. You’ve got to become a good planner, and a good dreamer. You’ve got to see the future finished in advance.

Success is a process, a process of putting out long hours, putting up with setbacks and stepping out of your comfort zone and at times putting yourself into circumstances where you are required to do something that causes you to feel uncomfortable over and over again until it becomes more natural and the discomfort dissipates.

It is during these times that you need to be willing to take on challenges, as it is these challenges that will lead you to success. I am sure that all of this sounds like hard work and effort and not much fun to do, yet those who have achieves success will agree that there is really not a great distance between average and outstanding.

The most difficult part is overcoming the limiting thoughts that tend to want to hold you captive in the position that you currently find yourself. Often your mind and the thoughts you think are by far more difficult than the actual doing.  In my opinion, the challenges you face on the path to success are a lot less challenging than the challenges faced at remaining mediocre, or average.

Each time you are able to confront a fear or overcome an obstacle, it makes you more than you were before. Small achievements daily strengthen the mental muscles and empowers you to become stronger and better prepared for the next challenge .

As a lover of personal development I have to agree with Jim Rohn, who so elegantly says that to have more, we must first become more, and to become more, we must begin the process of working harder on ourselves than we do on anything else. But in addition to gathering new knowledge, new skills and new experiences, it is also important to discover new emotions. It is how we feel about what we know that makes the biggest difference in how our lives turn out.

Thoughts become things, and every decision we make, is a choice that either enables or disables us.

Henry Ford once said, “ Whether you believe you can or whether you believe you cant, You are right “

Its time for you to reveal those feeling you have about your life, It could also be time to determine what you want to do with that life. Most people have the knowledge and skills as well as the experience to become successful, yes that’s you. You have the knowledge, the skill and the experience to become highly successful in a specific area. What you could be lacking is the strong emotion about what it is that you want to achieve and what you really want to do. Adding a strong emotion to a thought or a feeling, a good idea, a dream or vision will enable you to push past the obstacles that hold you back and also create momentum to keep you moving forward.

Why not accept the challenge to become successful?

Why not now take the Challenge to Succeed!

Wow, wow, wow, that is so powerful and I love the way you say we actually need to be bigger dreamers in order to succeed so that we feel we are living the lifestyle before we have it.

I don’t have this book from Tony Robbins, but I think I may buy it now.

True, you need to be a planner and a dreamer to succeed. But that’s not the problem most people have, they just lack the will and the hard work necessary. All these are needed in certain proportions, truth is you can’t do it if you lack even one.

It is our limiting beliefs that hold us back in most cases.

Great post Brenda!! This is my first time here and I really like how you think. I am constantly pushing personal development to my partners and entire down-line!! I believe that personal development is the foundation for success and without it your chances of making it in network Marketing are seriously diminished!
