Characteristics of good articles in article marketing

Good articles are the ones that attract new readers and help build credibility. These are the articles where the authors took time to research and therefore come up with unique pieces.

Provide new information in article marketing

Good articles are normally filled with unique information that excites the user. Authors should constantly offer new information to their readers, to prevent them from starting to look somewhere else for the same information.

Write simple articles for article marketing

One test that you can take to evaluate whether or not an article is simple is to read it out loud. A good article is therefore on that reads naturally and has minimal use of complex words.

Easy to understand article marketing

Besides being simple to read through, good articles are also understandable easily. An author of a good article understands the specific topic clearly and is able to write an easily comprehensible article.

Keyword use in article marketing

Good articles display balanced use of keywords, thus providing a more natural reading experience. Such articles are generally not self-promotional and are highly informative. The links and additional information are placed neatly in the resource box.

In general, good articles are the ones that solve problems and answer questions that the reader may have. Next, we consider some features present in bad articles.

Characteristics of ugly articles

Ugly articles do exist and they are typically very thin and offer little information to the readers. Actually, ugly articles are said to leave the audience with more queries than solutions.

Spun content in article marketing

Most ugly articles are fundamentally spun content. This kind of content is created through the use of spinning software. This is performed through changing specific words in an article and using their synonyms. The final product is an article filled with grammatical and spelling errors and it also makes no sense.

Keyword use in article marketing

Ugly articles contain very many keywords, thus providing an unnatural reading experience. This factor is why such articles are said to be self serving as they only promote the author and are not focused on providing any informative content.

Conclusion

Creating quality articles is possible, but just like being proficient in any other skill, it takes some time and lots of hard work. Nevertheless, even the most skilled article writers may fall into using ugly writing habits such as forgetting to proofread and also failing to do a quality check prior to submitting the article.

As such, you should start using quality checks for ensuring that your articles are providing quality information and that they also read naturally. You should write articles that help readers identify and also resolve their problems.

Great article Brenda! I love article marketing and have in fact won awards for some of my work. As far as spinning articles it is advisable to review your spun work and do a bit of rewriting to make it a viable article and no so ugly. After all it is still your article and you want it to look good!

Ha ha, I love your “ugly articles” description – but I agree with you, I always feel cheated if I am short changed on a topic I want to read more about.

Brenda this is a fantastic article about writing articles 🙂 I think that if you can write a high quality article then that will be better in the long run. I think that will be better rather than sending out thousands of spun articles that make no sense just to get back links. Quality vs quantity. Quality will win in the long run.
